Raise taxes!

According to yesterday's Ledger Two groups are advocating tax increases.
The groups, which include the New Jersey Education Association and the Communications Workers of America, two powerful unions, urged a $462 million income tax increase for more than 100,000 taxpayers who earn $200,000 to $500,000, and more than $300 million in extra business taxes and suspended tax breaks.
I have a better idea. Let's fire all members of the CWA and NJEA that work for the state and start over again. Remember PATCO!

And what happened when Reagan fired all of the 12,000 PATCO members (the air traffic controller union) and replaced thenm with 5,000 less experiened military air traffic controllers? There was an immediate increase in plane accidents for several years. You can thank President Reagan for those deaths. By the way, after Reagan fired the PATCO union members, the new air traffic controllers started to complain about the same work conditions the previous union members did, and over the last 20 years or so, many (from what I know) have been rectified. So rather than fire all those union members, and cause air-safety issues, perhaps the government should have negotiated in good faith and saved time, money, and lives!

No! These people have their hands in our pockets and won't stop. I stand by what I said.
